Handheld LIBS analyser customised to provide quantitative measurements. It is of rugged construction and IP54-rated with a battery life of >4 h. The laser beam is rastered to sample an area of ~300 µm. Custom calibrations are available for applications such as Li content in batteries, metal in alloys and the composition of catalysts, minerals or ceramics.
