The Norman Sheppard Award is made by the Infrared and Raman Discussion Group (IRDG) to honour scientists who have significantly advanced the field of vibrational spectroscopy while working in academe or industry. Recipients will have made a sustained and distinguished contribution to the field, and will also have strongly supported the aims and activities of the IRDG.
