There is an increasing need for the agri-food sector to implement non-invasive sensors that provide information on their products to control quality standards and optimize processes. Non-destructive sensors such as NIR Spectroscopy or Hyperspectral imaging enable rapid assessment of multiple parameters, but their calibration and implementation are not straightforward.
This workshop is aimed to foster knowledge exchange and training between researchers, students, and professionals about NIR Spectroscopy and Hyperspectral imaging. It is organized in different sessions going from the fundamentals and principles to data acquisitions and analysis. It includes a talk and practical ofamples on advanced spectroscopy data analysis, going from the bases of the AI to the different AI tools available, even for people unfamiliar with programming. It contains examples of the development of NIR systems for the agri-food sector and its online application.
