6850 UV-vis double beam spectrophotometer

The 6850 UV-vis spectrophotometer from Jenway is a double-beam instrument with a variable spectral bandwidth. The double beam optics and two detectors measure the sample and reference simultaneously for measurement accuracy and stability over long periods of time. The spectral bandwidths of 0.5 nm, 1 nm, 2 nm, 4 nm and 5 nm give flexibility while ensuring compliance to the European Pharmacopeia requirements. An integrated user interface is included as standard, introducing functionalities such as greater data storage, additional post-measurement tools and pre-loaded DNA and protein methods. Designed for quality control, research and routine applications in life science, materials science and the pharmaceutical industry, the instrument offers multiple measurement modes for photometrics concentration, multi-wavelength, spectral scanning, kinetics, quantitation, DNA/RNA and protein analysis.
