Acal BFi and Quantum Light sign pan-European distribution agreement

Acal BFi have signed a Pan-European distribution agreement with Quantum Light. This agreement enables Acal BFi to bring to the market a range of compact air cooled DPSS Q-Switched lasers, operating at low repetition rate and high energy. Current models are available at 1053 nm, 1064 nm and all the harmonics up to the fifth (211 nm). Models can have either TEM00 or top-hat beam profile with energy of up to 40 mJ, <7 ns pulse duration and peak power of ~6 MWatts. Applications including laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), pulsed light deposition (PLD), time-of-flight spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionisation (MALDI), remote sensing, laser ablation and “mask marking”.
