Informing Spectroscopists for Over 40 Years

15th European Short Course on Principles and Applications of Time-resolved Fluorescence Spectroscopy

Monday, 6 November 2017 to Thursday, 9 November 2017
Berlin,
Germany

This annual short course is organized by PicoQuant GmbH in cooperation with Joseph R. Lakowicz from the Center of Fluorescence Spectroscopy (CFS) in Baltimore, USA.

The course gives an in-depth introduction into the principles of fluorescence spectroscopy as well as its applications to life science. It is aimed at professionals who are either using or intend to use fluorescence spectroscopy in their research.

The lectures are accompanied by practical training sessions focusing on various instrumentation and software. The lectures will be held by Joseph R. Lakowicz, Rainer Erdmann, Managing Director of PicoQuant, and further senior scientists of PicoQuant, who all have extensive experience in time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy. The practical sessions will include steady-state and time-resolved measurements as well as data analysis, performed on various instruments provided by Agilent and PicoQuant.
